Mercers annual Quality of living survey shows a good ranking for several German cities. Whereas Vienna keeps its unchallenged number 1 position, Zurich (2), Geneva (3) and Düsseldorf (6) are the other top World Wide Europeans under the top ten. But Frankfurt (7), Munich (7) and Bern (9) almost make the top 10 a European only affair. Only Vancouver, Auckland and Sydney can challenge Europe on the places 4 and 10.
We are proud that Frankfurt am Main, AllGrunds “homeland”, keeps pace with Europe, the World and Munich in regards to the living quality – the 650.000 residents town with just as many jobs has plenty of opportunities to make life not only dominated by the job, but to relax, sport, enjoy culture and meet a large amount of international guests and residents from all over the world. This has contributed to the fact that property prices in Frankfurt are amongst the most stable ones in Europe.
Property prices in Frankfurt have been going up in the last two years but now are on a peak and only very specific locations and sizes of property still can afford rising prices. In general the market has found many buyers and the demand focusses on a few very specific categories. Read more soon!
